Tim May: Knocked down, Will Howard rose to return but to no avail

COLUMBUS — Turns out, Will Howard was not destined to be the difference, perhaps the hero, in helping Ohio State stop what now is a four-game losing streak in The Game against Michigan for the first time since 1988-1991. But he still left his mark.  The Ohio State offense overall did not leave much of one, though, in the 129th renewal of “the greatest rivalry in sports.” Howard took some of the blame for the 13-10 loss, his two interceptions were legitimate plays by well-placed Wolverines.
