Gleitman’s Goods: Is Na’eem Offord going to flip from Ohio State?

Those who follow Ohio State recruiting were sent into a tizzy this weekend when 247Sports’s Tom Loy made a prediction for current Buckeye commit Na’eem Offord to flip to Auburn. Prior to the prediction, Offord was known to be taking visits elsewhere, but the general thought was that as long as Ohio State cornerback coach Tim Walton was employed by the Buckeyes, that all would be well. It seems that is not necessarily the case, and Offord visited Auburn, where Loy predicted him to flip to, this past weekend for their opener, and has plans to get to Oregon at least once this season as well (for the game against the Buckeyes). It does seem like there could be fire where there’s smoke in this one, and Ohio State is certainly in it for a battle for the 5-star corner.
