Past Ohio State and Tennessee recruiting battles will impact College Football Playoff matchup
Ohio State and Tennessee will square off on Saturday night in Ohio Stadium for a first round College Football Playoff matchup between the eight and nine seeds, respectively, in the field. While this is the first time the Buckeyes and Volunteers are playing each other on the gridiron for just the second time ever (lone matchup was a 20-14 UT win in the 1996 Citrus Bowl), the two programs have clashed plenty on the recruiting trail. The results of those battles have gone both ways, but some of them over the last few years will have a direct impact on Saturday's game. Today, Lettermen Row takes a look at both Tennessee and Ohio State to see which players that were heavily recruited by both programs will have an impact on the first round contest this weekend.
