Five young Buckeyes we want to see more from after Week 1
COLUMBUS — Ohio State probably would have wanted to get its starters out of the game quicker on Saturday. But after a slow start in the 52-6 win over Akron in the Horseshoe, the Buckeyes did give some of their younger players opportunities to get on the field late in the fourth quarter. Freshmen made their debuts. Second-year Ohio State players worked their way into the second-team lineup with a chance to impress. And while it wasn't nearly as much playing time as the Buckeyes may have expected to give their reserves, those moments are still important moving forward. With that in mind, Lettermen Row is taking what it saw in the late stages of the Week 1 victory over Akron and highlighting four Buckeyes who we'd like to see more from this week against Western Michigan before making any big, sweeping statements about them.
