'You've got to put the best five out there': Ohio State evaluating left tackle situation
COLUMBUS — Ohio State knows the performance from the offensive line it trotted out for the bulk of its win over Nebraska on Saturday was not good enough. Now the Buckeyes are heading into a matchup against one of the most aggressive, attacking defensive fronts in college football. A plan must be in place for the second game without star left tackle Josh Simmons, who is out for the season with a knee injury. In Simmons' place, the Buckeyes turned to Zen Michalski. It wasn't a good performance -- and to make matters worse, Michalski finished the game on crutches after being carted to the locker room. Michalski was not ruled out for this week's game, but the Buckeyes are going to evaluate all options at left tackle no matter Michalski's status for the game at Penn State.
