Ohio State: Jack Miller is healthy, ready to prove himself as nation's best QB

It’s been a tough few months for Ohio State verbal Jack Miller. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound quarterback has spent nearly every day since mid-October rehabbing a torn MCL suffered midway through his junior year at Scottsdale (Ariz.) Chaparral High School and is finally back to full speed.
Last weekend, Miller went to Los Angeles and competed against some of the West Coast’s best quarterbacks in an attempt to win a spot in the Elite 11 Finals. And he wound up punching a ticket.
“I threw it good,†Miller said. “Even though it was raining and super windy.â€

Throwing it well in poor conditions is something that the Arizona 4-star quarterback, currently ranked as the nation’s fourth-best pro-style prospect, will need to do with consistency if he wants to dominate at Ohio State the same way he has in high school. He chose the Buckeyes last July and told Lettermen Row readers he wasn’t making his decision lightly.
“I have seen a lot of other schools in the last two years, and I am so grateful for all of the opportunities I’ve been given,” Miller wrote when he committed. “But Columbus and with the Buckeyes is the only place I want to be.”

That commitment has been tested over the last few months as Miller has dealt with the recent addition of Justin Fields and how it will impact his time at Ohio State. He took a visit in December to see LSU when the Tigers were in Phoenix and dealt with people speculating about what that could mean for his future as well.
