COLUMBUS — Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud already earned Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and Quarterback of the Year for his freshman campaign.

But that might make it even more impressive that he followed it up by doing it all over again. Stroud was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and the Quarterback of the Year on Wednesday, sweeping the two major offensive honors from the league for the second straight season.

Stroud was also selected as the first-team all-league quarterback by both the media and coaches.

There were other obvious choices for both the media and coaches, such as first-team all-Big Ten wide receiver and Big Ten Wide Receiver of the Year recipient Marvin Harrison Jr. The sophomore wide receiver crossed the 1,000-yard marker and proved to be one of the best receivers in the country.

Harrison is the first Ohio State receiver to ever earn the Receiver of the Year honor.

Another unanimous first-team selection: left tackle Paris Johnson, who didn’t allow a sack throughout the entire season.

Left guard Donovan Jackson was named a first-team selection by the media.

It wasn’t just the first-team all-conference selections Ohio State dominated. Wide receiver Emeka Egbuka and right guard Matthew Jones were second-team selections by both the coaches and media, while right tackle Dawand Jones was named a second-team member by the media.

Three other Buckeyes were honored as third-team selections, including center Luke Wypler. With his inclusion, all five offensive linemen in the starting lineup for the Buckeyes became all-conference selections in the first season under new position coach Justin Frye.
