Rapid Reaction: Buckeyes take care of business, rout Arkansas State
COLUMBUS — Ohio State used a flurry of scores and stops in the third quarter to power past Arkansas State on Saturday.
C.J. Stroud connected with Marvin Harrison Jr. three times and threw a fourth touchdown pass, as well, as the Buckeyes beat the Red Wolves 45-12 inside the Horseshoe.
Lettermen Row was on site in the Horseshoe to break it all down. Spencer Holbrook and Tim May are breaking down how the Buckeyes were able to use a big third quarter to take down Arkansas State and stay perfect a week after opening their season.
Of course, there were some sloppy penalties and mess-ups. And the Buckeyes must take care of them.
“We have to clean those things up,” Ohio State coach Ryan Day said after the win. “… We had nine penalties. That’s unacceptable.”
