COLUMBUS — Omari Abor is already making the most of Ohio State bowl practice.

A former top-100 player in the class of 2022 and talented four-star defensive end, Omari Abor shed his black stripe for the Buckeyes on Wednesday. He joins 16 other Buckeyes to lose a black stripe on his helmet, signifying that he is officially a member of the Ohio State football program.

Abor played just eight snaps for the Buckeyes this fall, according to ProFootball Focus. Although he appeared in just one game, the progress for Abor is evident. The Duncanville, Texas, native was the No. 79 overall player in the class of 2022. He was the No. 12 defensive end and No. 15 player in the state of Texas coming out of high school.

Now he is officially a part of the Ohio State football program, shedding his black stripe and making the most of the month of College Football Playoff practice ahead for the Buckeyes.
