5:12, 4Q — It’s 14-3 Missouri after a long touchdown drive. And Ohio State is in big trouble here in Arlington.
11:30, 4Q — Ohio State moves into Missouri territory before the offense stalls out. Jesse Mirco punts down to the Missouri 9.
14:55, 4Q — Touchdown, Missouri. Cody Schrader finds the end zone, and the Tigers take the lead. Ohio State is in danger here after not being able to move the ball all night so far.

8:39, 3Q — Ohio State is called for its third special teams penalty of the game, this time a holding call on a punt return. The Buckeyes will start on their own 15 instead of their own 25 because of it.
12:24, 3Q — Jayden Fielding doinks a 48-yard field-goal attempt off the left upright, and Ohio State maintains a 3-0 lead. That had the leg but wasn’t accurate enough.

8:08, 1Q — Both tackles have been called for false start penalties. Ohio State had a good drive going and then it stalled due to penalties. The offense appears to be struggling, and the Buckeyes will punt on 4th and 21.
12:11, 1Q — Missouri gets two first downs before punting. Ohio State will have it for a second time and begin on the Ohio State 10.
14:00, 1Q — Ohio State goes three and out. It looked bad. The Buckeyes punted and Missouri took over at its own 28.

- Quarterback Devin Brown, who backed up former-starter Kyle McCord, has appeared in five games this season. He’s completed 12-of-22 passes for 197 yards and two touchdowns to go along with one interception. Brown has also rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown, but he’s fumbled once, too.
- With Marvin Harrison Jr. sitting the Cotton Bowl out, Emeka Egbuka is in the spotlight. The Buckeyes’ standout slot receiver missed three games this season, except he’s still third on the team with 452 receiving yards. He’s reeled in 35 passes and four touchdowns.
- Ohio State defensive end Jack Sawyer has combined for 12 total tackles, including 4.5 for a loss and two sacks, over Ohio State’s last two games.

Ohio State vs. Missouri: Game time, details
The Buckeyes lead the all-time series 10-1-1 and has won the last two meetings, both coming in wins over the Tigers in the 1997 and 1998 seasons, a home and road win over Missouri.
This is just the third time Ohio State will compete in the Cotton Bowl classic. The Buckeyes are 2-0 all-time in the Cotton Bowl; they beat Texas A&M 28-12 on New Year’s Day 1987 and then won that bowl game with a 24-7 triumph over USC in the 2017 edition of the game.
Missouri, meanwhile, is playing in the Cotton Bowl for the fourth time. The Tigers are 2-1 all-time in the Cotton Bowl. They lost the 1946 edition of the game to Texas and beat Arkansas in 2008 and Oklahoma State in the 2014 edition of the game.
