Tim May: Emeka Egbuka shines for Buckeyes in win over Marshall

COLUMBUS — As No. 3 Ohio State turns its focus on the start of its 2024 Big Ten schedule Saturday night at Michigan State, Emeka Egbuka is in a state of readiness. He proved that in the eventual lopsided win over heavy underdog Marshall. He was in launch mode, and quarterback Will Howard and the Buckeyes pushed the button.  With Ohio State surprisingly behind 7-0 after an impressive Marshall first drive, Howard slinged a wide screen pass to Egbuka who made one cut up the field and streaked straight to the end zone. It was a 68-yard play.
