Buckeyes draw afternoon kickoff for road game at Maryland
COLUMBUS — Ohio State and Michigan are on a collision course to play against each other as top-five teams.
But the Buckeyes have to get through a tricky road trip at pesky Maryland first. Now they know when they’ll square off against the Terrapins in the final of their four road games this season.
Ohio State and Maryland will kick off at 3:30 on ABC, according to the networks and the Buckeyes program. This news comes as the networks decided to use a six-day window to determine the time slots for the Buckeyes game and the Michigan matchup against Illinois.
Ryan Day and the Buckeyes are 10-0 and have taken care of business all year so far. But only three of those wins have come on the road in a weird scheduling quirk that gave them eight home games and four road trips.
Maryland is the last of the four.
The penultimate game of the year for the Buckeyes will come directly following a home win over Indiana in which Ohio State dominated for four quarters, holding down the Hoosiers offense and scoring in bunches.
