COLUMBUS — When Ohio State faced Youngstown State in Week 2, the Penguins were undefeated. Same went for Western Kentucky in Week 3 and Notre Dame in Week 4.

Flash forward two more weeks after an idle week, and for the fifth time in as many games, the Buckeyes will face an undefeated team yet again. This time, it’s Big Ten East rival and up-and-coming program Maryland.

While Ohio State was off for the only time this season, the Terrapins moved to 2-0 in Big Ten play with a blowout win over Indiana, just one week after going on the road and blowing out Michigan State.

Simply put, this isn’t a normal Maryland team. The Buckeyes will need to play well in order to move to 9-0 all-time against the Terrapins and get to 5-0 on the season.

What is the biggest area of concern remaining on the Ohio State roster? Who still needs to take a big step forward for the Buckeyes if they want to earn a win over Maryland? And what were the biggest takeaways from a busy of weekend of college football — despite Ohio State being on an idle week?

Latest AP Top 10

Ohio State had the week off for some much-needed rest following its last-second win at then-No. 9 Notre Dame. The Buckeyes didn’t play, and they didn’t budge in the AP Top 25, either.

Actually, there was no movement among the top-seven FBS teams.

Ohio State (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten) remained No. 4 this week.
