COLUMBUS — One of the marquee home games on the Ohio State football schedule now has clarity.

Ohio State will host Nebraska for its annual Homecoming game on Oct. 26 for Big Noon Kickoff the networks and the program announced Monday afternoon. Fox will carry that game according to the release with Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt returning to Ohio Stadium.

The matchup between the Buckeyes and Cornhuskers will be a weird game of sorts for Nebraska freshman quarterback and potential starter Dylan Raiola, who was committed to Ohio State for nearly a year before decommitting and committing to Georgia, then leaving that recruiting class to sign with head coach Matt Rhule and Nebraska.

Ohio State is 9-1 all-time against Nebraska. The Buckeyes have won seven in a row in the series after losing at Nebraska in 2021. Most recently, they pulled out a tough 26-17 road win in Lincoln back in 2021. In that game, Jaxon Smith-Njigba was a star, catching 15 passes for 240 yards and a receiving touchdown.

Other kickoff times announced

+ The Buckeyes will play against Northwestern at Wrigley Field in Chicago on Nov. 16 in a game that will either be at Noon or 3:30 p.m. The TV network for that game is still unknown.
