C.J. Stroud: None of the four experts have C.J. Stroud as the top signal caller in the draft, as all of them have him trailing Alabama’s Bryce Young. Reid, Miller and McShay all have Stroud second behind Young, while Kiper Jr. controversially has Kentucky’s Will Levis as his top quarterback, with Young in the No. 2 slot and Stroud at No. 3.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba: Some draft experts, such as Matt Miller and Mel Kiper Jr., have Smith-Njigba as the top wide receiver in the draft class, even after his injury slowed him down for nearly all of last season. Others, such as Reid and McShay, believe there are other receivers ahead of Smith-Njigba on the pecking order. Reid has Smith-Njigba at No. 2, trailing USC’s Jordan Addison, while McShay has Smith-Njigba in the No. 3 slot behind Addison and TCU’s Quentin Johnston.

Paris Johnson Jr. and Dawand Jones: The four ESPN draft experts are in lockstep in their feelings on Paris Johnson Jr.: he is the second-best tackle available, behind only Northwestern superstar Peter Skoronski. Johnson is still pushing to be the top tackle taken when April’s NFL Draft rolls around. Where the experts disagree, however, is how to view fellow Ohio State tackle Dawand Jones. Only one of the draft scouts has Jones in his top five tackles list, and that’s Jordan Reid, who has Jones listed at No. 4.

Luke Wypler: Todd McShay has Wypler as the No. 2 guard in the draft class, behind only Florida’s O’Cyrus Torrence. But the other three experts see Wypler as one of the top available centers in this draft class. Matt Miller has Wypler as the top center, while Reid has him at No. 2 on the centers list and Kiper has him slotted in third behind two other talented center prospects.

Zach Harrison: Only one ESPN expert has former Ohio State defensive end and team captain Zach Harrison ranked in his top defensive ends available. Todd McShay has Harrison as the fourth-best defensive end available, trailing Texas Tech’s Tyree Wilson, Clemson’s Myles Murphy and Iowa’s Luke Van Ness.

Ronnie Hickman: Only one ESPN expert has former Ohio State safety and leading tackler Ronnie Hickman ranked in his top safeties available. Matt Miller has Hickman as the fourth-best safety available, trailing Alabama’s Brian Branch, Texas A&M’s Antonio Johnson and Georgia’s Christopher Smith.
