Summer enrollees arrive on campus for Buckeyes
Ohio State already welcomed 11 of its 21 signees in the class of 2022 for winter workouts and spring practice.
The other 10 are now beginning to arrive on campus to begin their careers with the Buckeyes. The football program posted pictures to Twitter on Sunday, showing five-star safety Sonny Styles, four-star defensive end Omari Abor, four-star defensive tackle Hero Kanu and four-star running back Dallan Hayden all on campus for their opening days as Buckeyes.
All 10 can start their time at Ohio State with summer workouts before training camp. The full list of the incoming freshmen: safety Sonny Styles, defensive end Kenyatta Jackson, defensive end Omari Abor, wide receiver Kaleb Brown, offensive lineman Tegra Tshabola, defensive tackle Hero Kanu, offensive lineman Carson Hinzman, wide receiver Kojo Antwi, running back Dallan Hayden and offensive lineman Avery Henry.
Five-star Georgia safety headlines early-week visitors list
The Buckeyes will open the Woody Hayes Athletic Center to one of the country’s best athletes early this week when five-star Buford, Georgia, safety KJ Bolden arrives for a visit. Bolden is currently the No. 1 safety in the country and No. 20 overall player, according to On3. He visited the Buckeyes in the spring, so getting him back on campus in the summer is a step in the right direction for the Ohio State staff.
But Bolden isn’t the only visitor for the Buckeyes early this week. Ohio State will welcome in-state and out-of-state products, as well. Those visitors include, but are not limited to:
- 2023 KIPP Columbus (Ohio) OL Jordan Hall
- 2024 Benedictine (Richmond, Virginia) TE Luca Puccinelli
- 2024 Melissa (Texas) DL Nigel Smith II
- 2025 Bellefontaine (Ohio) QB Tavien St. Clair
- 2025 Westerville North (Ohio) OL Jake Cook
- 2025 Zephyrhills (Florida) DB DJ Pickett
- 2025 Atascocita (Houston, Texas) ATH Tory Blaylock
Ohio State has a big group of visitors lined up this week, making it the biggest day of visits so far early in June.

Sensabaugh averaged 25.1 points and 7.2 rebounds during his senior season at Lake Highland Prep in Orlando, and he brings a lot to the Ohio State roster that could use depth at forward next season.
The Buckeyes have a loaded recruiting class coming in, and Brice Sensabaugh continues to prove he can have an instant impact for Ohio State. The path forward begins now, as he arrived on campus Friday.
