Three Big Storylines for Buckeyes ahead of home-opening tune-up
Week 1 is in the books. Ohio State’s season-opening victory at Indiana wasn’t the prettiest, but it counts the same as any other win.
“Yes, but I want better,” head coach Ryan Day said after the game when asked if he expected some of the growing pains that resulted from changes at quarterback and on the offensive line. “I did anticipate some of this. Saw it going a little the way it did, but I thought we’d get more points. I thought we would convert some of those. We’re used to doing that here.”
The Buckeyes are 1-0 and have returned to Columbus for back-to-back home games, starting with a Saturday tilt against FCS Youngstown State.
Ohio State has significant room to grow, and work to do, the next two weeks before it makes the trip to play now-No. 13 Notre Dame.
