WATCH: Ryan Day gives final updates ahead of home opener
COLUMBUS — Ohio State coach Ryan Day met with the media one final time before the Buckeyes take on Youngstown State in Week 2 action.
The Buckeyes are coming off a 23-3 win over Indiana in the first game of the season.

Buckeyes vs. Penguins: Game time, details
Ohio State has only played Youngstown State twice in the programs’ history. The Buckeyes are 2-0, outscoring the Penguins 81-6. Those two matchups came in 2007 and 2008 when the Buckeyes were coached by Jim Tressel, who came to Ohio State from Youngstown State after winning national titles at that level.
So for the first time without Jim Tressel, the Buckeyes will face off against Youngstown State.

Ohio State hasn’t played an FCS opponent under Ryan Day. The Buckeyes last played an FCS opponent in 2013, when they beat Florida A&M. The Buckeyes are 8-3-1 against teams currently playing at the FCS level, but they’ve only played an FCS opponent three times in the last 83 years, all wins in Ohio Stadium.
