Buckeyes lacrosse off to hot start, biggest spring football questions
COLUMBUS — Spring football practice is just days away at Ohio State, and the Woody Hayes Athletic Center is gearing up for a huge stage of the offseason.
Lettermen Row’s Tim May is back with another episode of his famed podcast, The Tim May Podcast, for a Buckeyes conversation in preparation.
Tim May is joined by Lettermen Row senior writer Austin Ward to talk about a variety of topics related to spring practice, including which players have the most to prove and who they are excited to hear about as the football facility is buzzing with activity to prepare for the next few weeks.
The guys also break down the athletic department and how the Buckeyes maintain their level as one of the top departments in the entire country — in all sports, not just football.
Speaking of all sports, Tim is also joined by Ohio State lacrosse coach Nick Myers for a conversation about the support the program receives from athletic director Gene Smith and the entire athletic department. The Buckeyes lacrosse program is off to a hot start this season. They’re currently 4-0.
Oh, and they’re in the process of getting a new $21.5 million lacrosse-specific stadium on campus. The new stadium will allow the men’s and women’s lacrosse teams to play in their own stadium rather than using Ohio Stadium and the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
