Jim Burrow, Jake Ballard share unique Super Bowl perspective
COLUMBUS — Ohio State is in the headlines for its success at the pro level.
The Buckeyes had more former players in the Pro Bowl than any other program, and they have plenty of impressive athletes in the Super Bowl this upcoming weekend.
So, the Tim May Podcast is back to break down all of it with two special guests.
Tim is first joined by former Ohio State standout Jake Ballard, who played in the NFL and won Super Bowl XLVI with the New York Giants. Ballard knows how to prepare for the big game — and how to win it, so his insight is certainly worth tuning in for.
Tim also welcomes long-time college football coach Jimmy Burrow, who also happens to be the father of former Buckeyes and LSU quarterback Joe Burrow. As the younger Burrow prepares to play in the biggest game of his life, the Super Bowl, Tim and Jimmy break down just how Joe got here and what he needs to do to win football’s ultimate prize.
Burrow and three other former Buckeyes stars will play for the Bengals, trying to win that franchise its first Super Bowl title. The Rams have former Buckeyes safety Jordan Fuller on their roster, but he is out with an injury.
