COLUMBUS — Ohio State didn't expect Will Kacmarek to be perfect in every aspect from Day One. That's a lot to ask of the former Ohio tight end who transferred into the Buckeyes program in January. So Kacmarek used the spring as a transition period. And once he felt like he was completely up to speed in the Ohio State offense -- and literally playing at the speed required to play for the Buckeyes -- he really went to work. Kacmarek worked with former Buckeyes wide receiver -- and Ohio Bobcats teammate -- Sam Wiglusz, now a wide receiver with the Los Angeles Rams, on route-running techniques. He worked with tight ends coach Keenan Bailey and others on the Buckeyes staff. It's now all paying off. Because everyone knew Will Kacmarek could block at a high level for Ohio State. He's now adding tools as a pass-catcher.
