COLUMBUS — Ohio State has already played in three road games this season.

Two of those were against Big Ten bottomfeeders. The other was a road trip to Notre Dame, where the Buckeyes took down a top-10 team with some late-game heroics.

There are only three road trips left on the slate. All three of them are against teams with winning records. The first of the three — with the other two being at 6-2 Rutgers and the final road trip coming at the end of the year against 8-0 Michigan — will be against 5-2 Wisconsin, the current leader of the Big Ten West division.

Ohio State knew it would need to be good on the road this year. And after an emotional win over former No. 7 Penn State on Saturday night at home, the focus must go with the Buckeyes to Madison this weekend.

“We knew we had to go on the road this year and be ‘Road Warriors,’” Ohio State coach Ryan Day said. “Notre Dame early on was going to be a really difficult environment. We knew this was going to be the same way. [Wisconsin] is playing well, they’re a good football team. They’ve got a really good opportunity to win their side. And we can’t let last week affect this week. Championship teams bring it every week. They don’t have ups and downs and letdowns.

“So we’re not allowed to have a letdown. We got to bring it.”

That’s the message for the Buckeyes as they head to Camp Randall Stadium, one of the toughest places in all of college football to win, for a primetime showdown with Wisconsin. Lettermen Row has every detail to get you ready, including the basics of the game, time, TV channel, how to watch and betting trends. Let’s dive in.

Ohio State at Wisconsin: Game time, details

Ohio State has won nine straight games against Wisconsin, but the Buckeyes haven’t been to Madison since 2016. In that game, the Buckeyes trailed by double digits and needed overtime to take down the Badgers, who were ranked in the top 10 at the time of the game. The Buckeyes are 2-1 in their last three trips to Wisconsin, the loss coming in 2010. But both wins were by single digits.

The Badgers are in their first year under new head coach and former Buckeyes assistant Luke Fickell, who coached for the Buckeyes when they won the national title in 2014 and served as the interim head coach for Ohio State in 2011.

This game is dripping with good storylines as the Buckeyes and Badgers will meet in primetime.
