Rapid Reaction: Buckeyes breeze past Wisconsin for statement victory
COLUMBUS — Ohio State used another incredible offensive performance to open Big Ten play with a destruction of Wisconsin on Saturday night in the Horseshoe.
C.J. Stroud connected with Buckeyes for five touchdown passes to give the Buckeyes their first league win of the season — and set the tone for what could be a special year in the Big Ten.
Lettermen Row was on site in the Horseshoe to break it all down. Spencer Holbrook and Tim May are breaking down how the Buckeyes were able to use a big offensive performance to take down Wisconsin and stay perfect one-third of the way through the season.
The Buckeyes defense was dominant, holding down the Badgers potent rushing attack. Wisconsin running back Braelon Allen was largely held in check for most of the night. Jim Knowles and the Ohio State defense seem to just be getting better with each game.
