Buckeyes safety Caleb Downs inks Rhoback deal, launches new Ohio State gear

COLUMBUS — Ohio State safety Caleb Downs is less than two weeks away from making his debut as a Buckeye.

But the former Alabama safety and freshman All-American has made a splash off the field with another NIL opportunity. Downs and athletic wear company, Rhoback, have agreed to a partnership with the Ohio State safety to help the launch of new Buckeyes gear, just in time for the fall.

“I am incredibly excited to be working with Rhoback as my official apparel sponsor and become a leading face of their Rhoback U program,” Downs said in a statement. “It’s easy to see why their presence in college athletics has grown so much and has remained as one of the fastest growing activewear brands in the country.

For as excited as Downs is about the partnership, Rhoback is equally as excited.
