COLUMBUS — Ohio State without question released some frustrations Saturday.

The Buckeyes bullied Indiana up and down the field to the tune of a 56-14 win in wintry conditions.

No. 2 Ohio State had heard questions all week leading up to the game about not just its offense, but the identity of its offense. Why can’t it pick up the yard when there’s only a yard to gain? Are there other players better fit to be in the game? What is the purpose of some of the play calls?

Rest assured, for now, the Buckeyes answered those questions to the best of their abilities against the Hoosiers.

Quarterback C.J. Stroud added another clip of evidence to Heisman resume. The California native in the rain and snow threw for 297 yards and five touchdowns with only 10 incompletions and no turnovers.

A big part of Stroud’s success came from wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. The sophomore had seven catches for 135 yards and a touchdown. Harrison Jr. tallied receptions in critical moments that moved the chains for Ohio State.

Tight end Cade Stover also was relied on in the win over the Hoosiers. He rumbled his way into the end zone with two touchdown catches.

Running backs Miyan Williams and Dallan Hayden ran wild against a sub-par defense. The two combined for 249 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Williams did leave the game with an injury, but Hayden showed he can be an every-down back as needed.

It was certainly an offensive showcase from Ohio State, but no moment in the game — and perhaps the season — topped a play in the fourth quarter.

Fifth-year senior Kam Babb caught his first career touchdown after battling back from four ACL surgeries. The celebration on the Buckeyes’ sideline gave them a delay of game penalty on the point after attempt, but it didn’t matter.

Ohio State’s defense was tight as ever.

Safety Lathan Ransom had arguably his best game of the season against Indiana that included nine tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, a sack, a pass breakup and a blocked punt.

Ohio State (10-0, 7-0 Big Ten) prepares for its final away game of the season when it travels to Maryland on Nov. 19.
