COLUMBUS — Ohio State didn’t need its best offensive outpouring of the season to notch yet another Big Ten blowout win.

The Buckeyes were out of sorts on that side of the ball for most of the first half. They instead relied on a stout, opportunistic defense that controlled a pitiful Iowa offense. Then the Ohio State offense finally found its groove, and the rout was on inside Ohio Stadium.

Ohio State 54, Iowa 10 was a weird result considering the oddity of the Buckeyes offensive struggles for most of the afternoon.

That’s why Lettermen Row was on site in the Horseshoe to make sense of it all. Spencer Holbrook and Tim May are breaking down how the Buckeyes were able to use a big defensive performance and massive game from defensive end Zach Harrison to take down Iowa on Saturday afternoon.

The Buckeyes defense kept the Iowa offense from doing anything for the entire day, making sure the Hawkeyes couldn’t keep up with the Ohio State offense, which eventually broke open the scoring.
