COLUMBUS — Ohio State year in and year out has representatives from its recruiting classes play in various postseason all-star games and all-American bowls.

The 2023 class is no exception to this standard and the Buckeyes will be well-represented in two major postseason preps bowls — the Under Armour All-American Bowl and the 2023 All-American Bowl.

The Buckeyes have nine signees playing between the two games.

Lettermen Row takes a look at which future Buckeyes are playing where and when.

Let’s get started.

Under Armour All-American Bowl

Three future Buckeyes will play in the Under Armour All-American Bowl.

Five-star Rolesville (N.C.) wide receiver Noah Rogers, four-star Fairburn (Ga) Langston Hughes tight end Jelani Thurman and four-star Fort Washington (Md.) DeMatha Catholic defensive lineman Jason Moore will play in the game.

The Under Armour All-American Bowl takes place on Jan. 3 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

All three of the future Ohio State players are on the same team in the bowl game — “team phantom”

Ohio State had four members from its 2022 class play in the game last year. Linebacker C.J. Hicks, EDGE Kenyatta Jackson, defensive lineman Omari Abor and linebacker Gabe Powers were there.

2023 All-American Bowl

Six future Buckeyes will head to San Antonio, Texas, for the All-American Bowl.

Five-star Miami Gardens (Fla) American Heritage wide receiver Brandon Inniss, four-star IMG Academy wide receiver Carnell Tate, four-star Findlay (Ohio) offensive lineman Luke Montgomery, four-star West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West safety Malik Hartford, four-star Waxahachie (Texas) cornerback Calvin Simpson-Hunt and four-star Indianapolis (Ind.) Lawrence Central EDGE Joshua Mickens will represent Ohio State.

Inniss, Tate, Montgomery and Hartford will play on Team East while Simpson-Hunt and Mickens will play on Team West.

The All-American Bowl takes place on Jan. 7 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

Ohio State had 11 members from its 2022 class play in the game last year including former five-star quarterback Devin Brown.
