June means visits, offers and one-day camps for Ohio State at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. The Buckeyes have a busy week ahead on the recruiting trail, hosting players from across the country for camps, unofficial visits and official visits throughout the week. Lettermen Row is breaking down recruiting tidbits to give you everything you need to know about the chaos that is Buckeyes recruiting.

COLUMBUS – As the busy recruiting month of June is coming to a close, Ohio State offensive coordinator and tight ends coach Kevin Wilson extended offers to multiple talented tight end prospects in the classes of 2024 and 2025.

Buckeyes offer Landon Pace

St. Louis University (Mo.) 2025 tight end Landon Pace earned his highest-profile offer to date, adding the Buckeyes to a list that includes Boston College, Connecticut, Missouri and West Virginia. Pace took an unofficial visit to Columbus in June and also attended the Buckeyes spring game in April.

Pace, the son of Ohio State legend and NFL Hall of Famer Orlando Pace, earned second-team freshman All-America honors from MaxPreps in 2021 at the linebacker position. Landon Pace’s brother, Jalen, walked on to the Ohio State football team and told Lettermen Row that the opportunity was a dream come true.

Emaree Winston would ‘love to get’ a national title

Calhoun (Ga.) 2025 tight end Emaree Winston visited Ohio State at the start of June and earned an offer from the Buckeyes. The 6-foot-3, 230-pound tight end has been busy this month, either camping at or visiting Louisville, North Carolina State, Georgia, Cincinnati and Alabama.

“Ohio State is a big school, they’ve got national championships and I’d love to get one,” Winston told On3’s Jeremy Johnson after receiving an offer from the Buckeyes.

Winston also told On3 that Ohio State running backs coach Tony Alford made it down to Georgia to see some of Winston’s spring practices, and that football isn’t the only thing on Winston’s mind, complimenting Ohio State’s culinary program.

“Their culinary program looks good,” Winston said. “I like to cook.”

Allen (Texas) 2025 tight end Davon Mitchell also picked up an offer from the Buckeyes, adding to his already impressive offer list. Mitchell’s recent visits include Alabama, Oklahoma and LSU. He holds offers from each of those three schools, in addition to heavyweights Texas and Texas A&M.
