COLUMBUS — Ohio State has found one of its future running backs.

Four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Villa Angela-St. Joseph running back Bo Jackson has committed to the Buckeyes following his official visit. Jackson is the No. 73 overall prospect and the No. 4 athlete according to the On3 Industry Rankings.

On3 has Jackson as the No. 125 overall prospect and the No. 4 athlete.

Jackson is the first running back to commit to Ohio State with Carlos Locklyn as the running backs coach.

The in-state pledge is fresh off his official visit to Ohio State where he spent 48 hours on campus. He spoke with Lettermen Row about the visit and what stood out to him — being with head coach Ryan Day.

“It’s always a good time meeting with Coach Day. Pretty much his whole message is that he wants me there and that they’re really interested in me. And Ohio State is home. My parents like him a lot. He calls me every once in a while so I have a really good relationship with Coach Day.”
