Four-star quarterback Brock Glenn commits to Ohio State
COLUMBUS — Ohio State has finally landed a pledge at the most important position in the game: Brock Glenn has committed to the Buckeyes.
The four-star Lausanne Collegiate School (Memphis, Tennessee) quarterback chose Ohio State over Florida State, Auburn, TCU, LSU and others Saturday afternoon. Glenn is the answer at quarterback for the Buckeyes 2023 class after going months without a clear-cut direction from prospects throughout the country.
Brock Glenn is the No. 20 rated quarterback prospect and the No. 9 player in Tennessee according to the On3 Consensus Rankings.
Glenn potentially will pilot an offensive machine with his fellow classmates. Ohio State has four offensive line commits, four-star running back Mark Fletcher, and an impressive quartet of wide receivers in Carnell Tate, Brandon Inniss, Noah Rogers and Bryson Rodgers. Glenn also joins tight ends Ty Lockwood and Jelani Thurman for another Buckeyes offensive cycle that boasts plenty of talent and skill level.

Glenn was offered at the beginning of June by Ohio State and took an official visit to Columbus on June 17. That visit gave plenty of clarity to Glenn on what Ohio State was about and how he can have a role with the Buckeyes according to On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons.
The 6-foot-1, 195-pound signal-caller brings plenty of upside and a solid arm to Ohio State. More from his official scouting report per On3.
Pro-style signal caller who is advanced in his ability to scan the field and process the game. Has a well-put-together build that measures in at a shade under 6-foot-2, 195 pounds with just over a 10-inch hand. Ran an electronically-timed 4.78 40-yard dash and 4.25 shuttle as well as a 33.5-inch vertical on the spring camp circuit prior to his senior season. Has a pretty release and gets the ball up and out quickly. Can improve the natural zip on his ball, as it tends to die on deeper throws. Led Memphis (Tenn.) Lausanne Collegiate to the state semi-finals while throwing for 1,576 yards, 23 touchdowns and 9 interceptions on 97 completions for a 63% completion percentage during his junior season. One of the highest floors of all the quarterbacks in the 2023 cycle. Will be a safe option for any Power 5 school that takes him and should add instant depth at the minimum early on in his career.”
