Ohio State 2024 recruiting class holds second place spot in On3 Team Industry Rankings
COLUMBUS — Ohio State is building one of its best recruiting classes in the Ryan Day era.
The Buckeyes currently boast the No. 2 recruiting class in the country according to the On3 Team Industry Rankings.
Ohio State has 18 commitments to its top-five class with a vast majority of them on the offensive side of the ball. Its average class score is 93.269 and its average player rating is 92.24. The Buckeyes’ 2024 class’s average NIL valuation is $150k.

Jeremiah Smith
Five-star Hollywood (Fla) Chaminade-Madonna Prep wide receiver Jeremiah Smith is the Buckeyes’ highest-rated commit in the class. He has a 98.76 rating and has been the longtime No. 1 wide receiver in the cycle. Smith is the No. 2 overall prospect and No. 1 prospect in the state of Florida.
Justin Scott
Five-star Chicago (Ill) St. Ignatius defensive lineman Justin Scott is one of the Buckeyes’ more recent commits and his impact is still being felt. He is the No. 8 overall prospect and No. 2 defensive lineman in the country. The Buckeyes, with his commitment, landed the top-rated prospect from Illinois as well.
Mylan Graham
Five-star New Haven (Ind) wide receiver Mylan Graham checks in as the third highest-rated prospect in the Buckeyes’ 2024 class. Graham is the No. 1 prospect from Indiana and checks in as the No. 5 wide receiver and No. 17 overall prospect. Ohio State is still looking to add one more wide receiver to what’s an impressive haul by Brian Hartline.

Air Noland
Four-star Fairburn (Ga) Langston Hughes quarterback Air Noland is the fourth highest-rated prospect in the Buckeyes’ class. Noland, the No. 7 Georgia prospect, is also the No. 4 quarterback and No. 40 overall prospect. He is certainly a key fixture in the Ohio State recruiting class and continues to rise in other rankings from various recruiting networks.
Bryce West
Four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville cornerback Bryce West rounds out the major rankings boosters for Ohio State.
West is the No. 2 Ohio prospect and No. 6 cornerback, and checks in as the No. 48 overall prospect. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect committed to the Buckeyes on June 24 which was a major win for them on the recruiting trail.
