Jordan Seaton decision breakdown, upcoming Ohio State official visitors
COLUMBUS — It’s another busy week in Ohio State recruiting and there is plenty to talk about.
Five-star Bradenton (Fla) IMG Academy offensive tackle Jordan Seaton ended his long and winding recruiting Thursday and the Buckeyes have a trio of official visitors heading their way.
The latest conversation inside the Lettermen Lounge covers it all and more.
Co-hosts Spencer Holbrook and Matt Parker start by chatting about Jordan Seaton’s stunning decision to commit to Colorado on Thursday morning. Seaton, the No. 1 offensive tackle and No. 6 overall prospect per On3, chose the Buffaloes over Ohio State, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Maryland, Oregon and many more.
The 6-foot-5, 295-pound offensive tackle is fresh off his Ohio State official visit. He was on campus Saturday until Monday night and gave the impression that the Buckeyes opened his eyes to what it would be like to play in Columbus.
“The biggest highlight for me was the position availability they will have next year,” Seaton told On3. “There are a lot of seniors on the team and a lot of guys they call developmental guys that will take another year or two to have a chance. They think I am a plug-in-and-play type of guy. That is important for everybody, but sometimes you don’t want to get on the field too early because you can make rookie mistakes.”
He continued
“I left feeling pretty good about them,” Seaton said. “We still have to keep communicating, keep talking and keep it going. What keeps Ohio State in the mix is their development. They take pride in their development. I have said all year that I want to be developed by the best. They want to take a five-star and make him a 10-star. They take pride in development.”

Even though he’s committed to Colorado, there are already talks of an official visit to Oregon and a chance he doesn’t even sign with the Buffaloes.
No matter, Ohio State has other recruiting worries heading into the weekend. The Buckeyes are set to welcome three official visitors to campus: Carlon Jones, Ernest Willor and Koi Perich.
Jones and Willor are defensive linemen and Perich is a safety. Both defensive linemen are currently uncommitted and Perich is committed to Minnesota. All three are massive remaining targets for Ohio State and would take all three commitments if any of the three decided to do so.
