Ohio State commits Mark Fletcher, Brandon Inniss, Noah Rogers all shine in latest performances

COLUMBUS — Ohio State faced its first potential test of adversity this weekend and absolutely aced it.

The Buckeyes went on the road for the first time this season after five straight weeks in Ohio Stadium and beat Michigan State 49-20.

But the scarlet and gray weren’t the only ones who hit the road this weekend. Several of the Buckeyes’ commits in all three of their classes played in away games and performed well.

Lettermen Row looks at all 11 offensive commits of the Ohio State 2023 class and the lone offensive commit from the 2024 class and their weekend efforts.

Brock Glenn

Four-star Memphis (Tenn) Lausanne Collegiate School quarterback Brock Glenn was on a bye week this week. The Buckeyes’ 2023 quarterback commit is back in action on Friday, Oct. 14 when he plays Collierville (Tenn) St. George’s.

Dylan Raiola

2024 five-star Chandler (Az) High quarterback commit Dylan Raiola and the Wolves cruised to a 40-21 win over Queen Creek (Az) Casteel. The only pledge in the Ohio State 2024 class has Chandler undefeated at 6-0.

Mark Fletcher

Four-star Fort Lauderdale (Fla) American Heritage running back commit Mark Fletcher and the Patriots took care of business against Davie (Fla) Western High in a 42-18 win. The future Buckeye had 102 rushing yards and one touchdown on 12 carries.

Jelani Thurman

Four-star Fairburn (Ga) Langston Hughes tight end commit Jelani Thurman and the Panthers defeated Dallas (Ga) East Paulding 59-0. Thurman had five catches for 51 yards and a touchdown in the win.

Brandon Inniss

Five-star Miami Gardens (Fla) American Heritage wide receiver commit Brandon Inniss was productive as ever in the Patriots latest win. The Ohio State commit had six catches for 112 yards and a touchdown in the 42-18 win over Davie (Fla) Western High.

Carnell Tate

Four-star Chicago (Ill) IMG Academy wide receiver commit Carnell Tate defeated Oakdale (Conn) St. Thomas More 45-0. The future Buckeye had four catches for 82 yards in the win.

Noah Rogers

Five-star Rolesville (N.C.) High wide receiver Noah Rogers defeated Raleigh (N.C.) Millbrook 35-6 on Friday. Rogers scored two touchdowns including a 71-yard haul.

Bryson Rodgers

Four-star Zephyrhills (Fla) Wiregrass Ranch wide receiver Bryson Rodgers won 29-28 against New Port Richey (Fla) River Ridge in a homecoming thriller.

The future Ohio State wide receiver had four catches for 47 yards and a touchdown in the win. He also had one rushing attempt for nine yards.

Luke Montgomery

Four-star Findlay (Ohio) offensive lineman Luke Montgomery won 35-14 against Oregon (Ohio) Clay High on Friday.

Josh Padilla

Four-star Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne offensive lineman Josh Padilla lost 26-21 to Kettering (Ohio) Fairmont on Friday.

Austin Siereveld

Four-star Cincinnati (Ohio) Lakota East offensive lineman Austin Siereveld lost 14-3 against Cincinnati (Ohio) Colerain.

Miles Walker

Three-star Greenwich (Conn) Brunswick School offensive tackle Miles Walker won 21-14 over Easthampton (Mass) Williston Northampton.
