Photo Gallery: Ohio State hosts high number of talented prospects
COLUMBUS — Ohio State packed the Horseshoe on Saturday.
The Buckeyes had a record crowd inside Ohio Stadium for the 117th edition of The Game. Ohio State spent a year listening to the noise that surrounded its program after losing to Michigan last season.
And while those scars that coach Ryan Day has talked about all season long remain, the Buckeyes have new wounds after they lost 45-23 to the Wolverines.
Part of that standing-room-only crowd inside the Horseshoe was around 70-75 visiting prospects. A good number of the prospects were Ohio State commits, but some were committed prospects elsewhere, including five-star safety Caleb Downs — an Alabama commit.
Lettermen Row had a full expected visitors list run earlier in the week, as well as pieces that highlighted five critical offensive and defensive prospects.
