COLUMBUS — Ohio State is preparing for its own season to start as it’s going through its yearly preseason training camp.

The same goes for the Buckeyes’ commits, who were already entrenched with preseason activities before their future program started.

Lettermen Row is going to look at one important game for all 20 prospects in the 2024 class and for 2025 quarterback commit Tavien St. Clair, and 2026 wide receiver commit Chris Henry Jr.

We look at four-star New Haven (Ind) wide receiver Mylan Graham.

A Playoff Rematch

It’s universally recognized — well, by both On3 and the On3 Industry Rankings — that Mylan Graham is the best football player in the state of Indiana.

The pushing 6-foot-1, 185-pound wide receiver has a confidence unmatched and he knows just how good he is. Graham has a major senior season ahead of him and will look to prove to a lot of people that all the off-season hype surrounding his name is justified.

And he has a great opportunity to do on Sept. 1 against DeKalb.

Not only is the matchup the second home game of the season for the Bulldogs, a home game early is important. This game is the most important one not just because it’s the conference opener for both programs.

It’s the most important because it’s a rematch from the playoffs last fall where DeKalb sent New Haven into the offseason earlier than it wanted to.

The Ohio State commit was a superstar for the Bulldogs last fall. One click on his Hudl highlight from his junior season and it’s a screen that he took 95 yards to the house. Plays like that were a big reason why and how New Haven was as successful as it was last year. It’ll need more of that this fall from Graham, he against DeKalb, expect a show.
