Where in-state and committed Ohio State prospects are in first 2025 On300
COLUMBUS — Ohio State routinely scouts and recruits the best talent inside its own borders and of course nationally.
The Buckeyes have already offered a number of prospects in the 2025 cycle. And even though the 2024 cycle is center stage, the 2025 prospects are beginning to step under the limelight.
On3 released its first On300 with the 2025 cycle and several Ohio State targets landed inside the count. For now, Lettermen Row focuses on a committed prospect and the in-state prospects, and where they stand with Ohio State.

CB Jontae Gilbert
Four-star Atlanta (Ga) Douglass cornerback Jontae Gilbert checks in as the No. 25 overall prospect in the On300.
He is the lone commit in the Buckeyes’ 2025 class and that commitment might have had its foundation shaken a bit after his recent visit to Alabama.
Gilbert is scheduled to visit Ohio State next week.
WR Dorian Brew
Four-star Clayton (Ohio) Northmont wide receiver Dorian Brew is the No. 1 rated Ohio prospect in the On300 and checks in at No. 68 nationally.
He holds an Ohio State offer and looks to get to campus this spring or summer.
ATH/RB Marquise Davis
Four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Heights running back Marquise Davis is the No. 80 overall prospect in the first 2025 On300.
Some schools are recruiting Davis as a linebacker while others are recruiting him as a running back. The Buckeyes are going with the ladder, and Tony Alford is his lead recruiter.
Davis was on campus last week.
RB Bo Jackson
Four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Villa Angela St. Joseph running back Bo Jackson falls in line as the No. 133 overall prospect and No. 12 running back.
Jackson has visited Ohio State multiple times, most recently on March 23.
ATH Trey McNutt
Four-star Shaker Heights (Ohio) athlete Trey McNutt is the No. 169 overall prospect per On3.
McNutt does not hold an offer from the Buckeyes, but he is expected to visit campus this spring.
EDGE/LB Justin Hill
Four-star Cincinnati (Ohio) Winton Woods linebacker Justin Hill is one of the final Ohioans inside the top 200, checking in at No. 174.

TE Luka Gilbert
Four-star Cincinnati (Ohio) Lakota West tight end Luka Gilbert is the No. 190 overall prospect in the On300.
Gilbert earned an Ohio State offer after his debut visit to campus the first week of spring practice.
OT Carter Lowe
Three-star Toledo (Ohio) Whitmer offensive tackle Carter Lower is fresh off an Ohio State visit and sees a No. 247 ranking in the first On300.
Lowe is shaping up to be an Ohio State-Michigan battle down the road between the two programs who are duking it out with some of the Buckeye State’s best talent in 2024.
EDGE Cedric Works
Three-star Clayton (Ohio) Northmont EDGE Cedric Works is the No. 249 overall prospect by On3.
He does not hold an Ohio State offer.
QB Ryan Montgomery
Three-star Findlay (Ohio) quarterback Ryan Montgomery checks in as the final Ohioan inside the On300 at No. 259.
Montgomery is an On3 Industry Ranked four-star prospect.
He is in the thick of his recruitment process and recently spoke with Lettermen Row about his latest Ohio State visit.
