INDIANAPOLIS — This offseason, starting with spring ball, the microscope will be on Ohio State’s offensive line of the future. But on Sunday, all attention will be on three Buckeyes O-Linemen of the past: center Luke Wypler and offensive tackles Paris Johnson Jr. and Dawand Jones.

Those three are set to participate in on-field drills at the NFL Combine. Wypler wants to run a 5.0 40-yard dash. Johnson wants to beat that time. And what Jones — who Wypler called “a big dancing bear” — will run is a source of great intrigue for everyone around the league.

It’s a chance for Ohio State’s O-Linemen to flash their often under-appreciated athleticism. For Jones, in particular, Sunday could be a ticket to the first round of this year’s NFL Draft. Johnson is already there. Wypler might land in Day Two, and a strong Combine performance could help his stock, not just as a center but as a guard, too.

Live Updates: Ohio State at NFL Draft Scouting Combine

4:31 p.m. Luke Wypler registers a 30.5-inch vertical and an 8-foot-10 broad jump. He also ended up with the third-fastest 20-yard shuttle of any participating offensive lineman (4.53 seconds).

3:36 p.m. — Luke Wypler runs a 5.15 unofficial in his first 40-yard dash. Then he runs a 5.14 in his second attempt.

2:40 p.m. — Paris Johnson Jr. shows quickness out of his stance in pass protection drills.

2:24 p.m. Paris Johnson Jr. and Dawand Jones run through the “deep pull” drill.

NFL Network draft expert Daniel Jeremiah: “He can really get out there and run. I don’t know why he didn’t run today. … I know Ohio State’s Pro Day, I’m sure that’s when that’s all gonna take place, but, man, you can see him get out here and move.”

NFL Network draft expert Daniel Jeremiah: “You’re not going to get around him. If you’re gonna stay on that one path, you’re not going to have a chance. And I don’t care if it’s with speed or if you even want to try to get him with power — you’re not going to be able to get through him. He’s just too dang big.”

2:13 p.m. — Paris Johnson Jr. going through the “wave drill.”

NFL Network draft expert Daniel Jeremiah: “When you look at his size and his length, it compares almost identically to Andrew Thomas, who is someone that has really come on for the New York Giants and just gotten better ever year.”

1:52 p.m. Dawand Jones runs a 5.42 unofficial in his second attempt for the 40-yard dash.

1:44 p.m. — Watch out. All 6-foot-8, 374 pounds of Dawand Jones are coming through. He runs a 5.36 unofficial in his first attempt for the 40-yard dash.

1:01 p.m. — Paris Johnson Jr. records a 9-foot-2 broad jump.

11:20 a.m. — The measurements are in for Ohio State’s offensive tackle duo…and they’re quite the sight.

10:31 a.m. — Lettermen Row compiled updated measurements and test results from the eight participating Buckeyes players in this year’s NFL Combine. Check it out here.
