Ohio State football at the NFL Combine: Saturday live blog - Luke Wypler, Paris Johnson Jr. and Dawand Jones
INDIANAPOLIS — Given its NFL pedigree, Ohio State always has a batch of departures in the offseason. The Buckeyes’ offensive line headlined that group this time around.
A trio of now-former Ohio State starting O-Lineman took the jump to the pros: center Luke Wypler and offensive tackles Paris Johnson Jr. and Dawand Jones.
Wypler and Johnson both made the move after just three years in Columbus. Both were two-year starters. Notably, Johnson started full seasons at right guard (2021) and left tackle (2022). Jones was also a two-year starter for the Buckeyes but didn’t budge from right tackle.
First-team All-Americans Johnson and Jones made up arguably the best tackle tandem in the country last year. They, along with Wypler, spoke to the media Saturday at the NFL Combine.
