Ohio State gets select kickoff times, schedule taking shape
COLUMBUS — The first wave of confirmed kickoffs for the Ryan Day Era at Ohio State have been announced.
The schedule release, which was unveiled Thursday, includes the season opener against Florida Atlantic, which will kick off at noon. The first three games of the season will all be noon kickoffs.
The Buckeyes will host Michigan State at 7:30 p.m. on ABC or ESPN for the Homecoming Game on Oct. 5.
Fox announced earlier this month that it planned to make its biggest game of the week at noon instead of a prime-time night game, which impacted the Buckeyes. Ohio State regularly plays nationally televised road games at night, but with Fox’s new format, that will change.
