PHOTOS: Buckeyes celebrate National Championship inside the 'Shoe
COLUMBUS – Ohio State hosted its National Championship celebration on Sunday. The Buckeyes were inside Ohio State for one final time this season after winning the national title over Notre Dame on Monday, Jan. 20.
Head coach Ryan Day along with Ohio State captains Jack Sawyer, TreVeyon Henderson, Emeka Egbuka and Cody Simon all addressed the Buckeye fans in attendance. Athletic Director Ross Bjork, University President Ted Carter, Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther and Ohio Governor Mike DeWine were among the other speakers at the celebration event.
Additionally, Bjork spoke with the local media after the event and discussed several topics.
