COLUMBUS — The Buckeyes were back in the Woody Hayes Athletic Center on Wednesday morning. Ohio State had multiple targets and few intriguing prospects in the building for its second spring practice.

Four-star Celina (Texas) quarterback Bowe Bentley the headlined the Buckeyes visitors list. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Bentley made his debut visit to Ohio State on Wednesday. Bentley is a top target for new quarterbacks coach Billy Fessler in the 2026 class. He has already visited Oklahoma and LSU this month.

Another talented Texan that made the trip to Columbus was three-star Southlake Carroll (Texas) wide receiver and TCU commit Brock Boyd. He has been committed to TCU since July 2024 but the Buckeyes have been working to him flip him from the Horn Frogs. Offensive coordinator Brian Hartline offered Boyd after stopping by Carroll during the January evaluation period.

Ohio State had another large group of offensive linemen on campus as well. Three-star Phoenix (Ariz.) Mountain Pointe offensive tackle Aaron Thomas, three-star St. Petersburg (Fla.) Lakewood offensive tackle Chancellor Campbell and 2026 Centennial (Colo.) Cherry Creek offensive lineman Oliver Miller were all in Columbus for the Buckeyes second practice of spring football. Thomas and Campbell have since announced scholarship offers from Ohio State.

Finally, the Buckeyes had a pair of top defensive targets on campus for Wednesday’s spring practice. Four-star Middletown (N.J.) Hun School EDGE Luke Wafle and three-star Lewis Center (Ohio) Olentangy linebacker CJ Sanna both visited. It was Wafle’s first trip to Columbus.
