Master Teague ranked among top draft-eligible tailbacks
Master Teague is fighting for the starting job as the Ohio State running back.
The incumbent back isn’t guaranteed to have the starting job when the Buckeyes take the field this fall, but he is garnering plenty of praise this offseason while battling to be the top ball-carrier in Columbus.
In a recent ranking from 247sports.com, Teague was listed as the No. 5 draft-eligible running back in the country. He was listed behind Isaiah Spiller from Texas A&M, Breece Hall from Iowa State, Brian Robinson from Alabama and Zamir White from Georgia. Teague was listed as the top returning back in the Big Ten.
Master Teague hasn’t won the starting tailback job for the Buckeyes yet, but he has the attention of the national audience as one of the top backs in America.

Which Big Ten game could trip up Buckeyes in regular season?
Ohio State hasn’t lost a conference game since 2018. And the Buckeyes should be favored in every Big Ten showdown this season as they aim for their third straight undefeated regular season. But could there be a game on the schedule that could trip up the Buckeyes?
Lettermen Row’s Austin Ward shared some thoughts. Part of that is here:
Minnesota, though, can be ruled out since motivation will definitely not be a factor for a season-opener in primetime. Strange as it still might sound, Indiana can’t be considered a sneaky pick anymore after looking every bit the part of a contender last year and pushing the Buckeyes in a thrilling shootout. To a lesser extent, the relative rise of Rutgers and the fact that it will signal the true start of conference play suggests Ohio State won’t be sleep-walking through that trip either.
That leaves Nebraska. And while it’s far from a guarantee that a coach who has appeared as overwhelmed and unprepared for the job rebuilding the Huskers as Scott Frost can turn it around this season, it’s certainly a possibility based on his previous track record and the time he’s had to assemble the roster he wants.
