Networks use six-day window for Ohio State-Indiana kickoff
There’s not much fear that Ohio State will struggle with Indiana on Nov. 12. The Hoosiers have three wins all year, each of them coming before October.
But when the Buckeyes game against the Hoosiers kicks off? Well, it’s yet to be determined, and it won’t be until next week.
The Big Ten television networks will use one of their six-day selections for the weekend of Nov. 12 to determine the kickoff times for all seven Big Ten games that weekend, and the Ohio State game is part of that. The Buckeyes won’t find out what time their game against Indiana kicks off until Saturday night or Sunday morning this week. The other games that will be decided then are Nebraska at Michigan, Purdue at Illinois, Maryland at Penn State, Wisconsin at Iowa, Northwestern at Minnesota and Rutgers at Michigan State.
Yes, Ohio State has a game this weekend at Northwestern before the Indiana game. And the time for that showdown with the Hoosiers? It’s yet to be determined.
Buckeyes land four-star defensive tackle
There were little tricks and plenty of treats for Ohio State on the recruiting trail Halloween night: Kayden McDonald has committed to the Buckeyes.
The four-star Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett defensive tackle chose Ohio State over Michigan, Clemson, Florida, Oklahoma and others.
Ohio State was considered the dark-horse candidate for McDonald’s pledge. He only visited Columbus twice, but he did give the Buckeyes one of his five official visits. Kayden McDonald made that official visit on Sept. 24 for the Ohio State win over Wisconsin — when the Buckeyes stuffed the Badgers’ rushing attack. McDonald’s previous visit was in October 2021.
He took a few visits to other programs that were included in his final five after the Ohio State trip. Oklahoma, Clemson and Florida all received final visits, but the Buckeyes won out in the end.
McDonald is a consensus four-star prospect and the No. 299 overall prospect according to the On3 Consensus. He is also rated as the No. 40 defensive lineman by the consensus.

Taking closer look at Buckeyes wild win over Penn State
With a come-from-behind win over the Nittany Lions, the Buckeyes showed signs of being elite late in the second half — especially on the defensive side of the ball, where J.T. Tuimoloau took over the game, forcing four turnovers.
Lettermen Row was in State College to break it all down Saturday, and now it’s back inside the Horseshoe to re-examine everything it learned from the road game.
How were the Buckeyes able to rack up so many fourth-quarter points and yards against a stout Penn State defense after sputtering early? What can we learn from the Ohio State defense after an up and down performance with clutch plays sprinkled in? What will the Buckeyes correct as they head to Northwestern for a Big Ten matchup to open November?
Spencer Holbrook and Tim May are breaking down how the Buckeyes fared with the newest Lettermen Row video: The Monday After. Every Monday following Buckeyes games, Tim and Spencer will reconvene and chat about what they saw Saturday afternoon.
