Buckeyes set date for annual spring game
Ohio State just ended its 2021 season a little more than a month ago. But spring practice is right around the corner — and so is the spring game.
The Buckeyes have set the date for the annual spring game, which will take place April 16 inside the Horseshoe. No ticket information is available yet, but fans will likely be able to return to Ohio Stadium to watch the Buckeyes for the yearly spring showcase.
Ryan Day will lead the Buckeyes for the fourth season after a disappointing year — in which Ohio State still won the Rose Bowl in January.
But spring practice is now nearing. And the spring game has a date.
Lettermen Row hands out 2022 recruiting class superlatives
The Class of 2022 is behind us, and Ohio State put together a pretty special group.
There are signees from 12 different states. Every position is represented in a well-rounded, top-five ranked recruiting class.
Lettermen Row‘s Jeremy Birmingham wanted to dive a little deeper, though. Every year the young men that join the Ohio State program are unique. They’re different. The personalities and talents vary as much as their eventual impact does.

Buckeyes have bright future at quarterback
Ohio State landed No. 1 overall player in the country Devin Brown, a quarterback from Utah, as part of its 2022 recruiting class.
That all but locks up the long-term future of the ultra-important position for the Buckeyes.
Lettermen Row’s Austin Ward has more about Brown and the future of quarterback at Ohio State.
Part of that can be found here:
The last top-ranked quarterback in the Class of 2022 had already been hit by that reality and moved on from Ohio State. And if there were any concerns about what the departure of Quinn Ewers might mean for the future of the position for the Buckeyes, Devin Brown has quickly erased them.
Ohio State still wound up with the top-ranked passer in that class once the evaluations of Brown’s arm talent, mental makeup and underrated athleticism all caught up with his development. And whether Ewers had stayed with the Buckeyes or not after his reclassification and premature arrival last season, the self-assured Brown was already committed to the program before he left. He was more than willing to step on campus and compete with him and yet another five-star talent in Kyle McCord behind C.J. Stroud.
