Twenty current, former Buckeyes graduate after fall semester

Ohio State once again has a full list of former and current players earning a degree.

After 10 former and current Buckeyes graduated after the spring semester, the proud program featured 20 current and former players earn their degrees Sunday as part of fall semester graduation.

Former players included all-time great linebacker Andy Katzenmoyer and former defensive lineman Tommy Togiai, who left last year after his junior season and is now playing for the Cleveland Browns.

A total of 15 current players earned their degrees Sunday, including wide receivers Chris Olave, Austin Kutscher, Sam Wiglusz, Xavier Johnson, Chris Booker and Kamryn Babb; cornerback Sevyn Banks; offensive linemen Nicholas Petit-Frere and Matthew Jones; defensive end Tyreke Smith; defensive tackles Antwuan Jackson and Jerron Cage, linebacker Teradja Mitchell, tight end Corey Rau and quarterback Jagger LaRoe.

Buckeyes hoops cancels next game, program still paused

There is still no clearance for Ohio State to return to any basketball activities.

And with no timeframe for when that might happen again for the Buckeyes, the program has already cancelled its next game.

Ohio State won’t play the nonconference matchup scheduled for Tuesday night against Tennessee Martin, the school confirmed in a statement on Sunday afternoon. The positive COVID tests that forced the Buckeyes to scrap a marquee showdown with Kentucky over the weekend continue to be an issue, and all team-related activities continue to be suspended while players and staff are tested according to Ohio State protocols with guidance from the Big Ten.

There is nothing else the Buckeyes can even do right now.

Ohio State has now had two games lost on the schedule outside of conference play, and neither will be rescheduled with the rest of the slate already packed once the Big Ten ramps up after the holidays.

And he joined the Tim May Podcast to break down his decision to choose Ohio State and what he brings to the offense.

What does Brown like about the Buckeyes? What factors played into his decision to pick Ohio State in the class? How will he try to move up the talented depth chart already in place?

Find those answers and more in this special edition of the Tim May Podcast with new Buckeyes quarterback signee Devin Brown. Don’t miss the exclusive interview.
