Lowe made multiple trips to Michigan, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee throughout his recruitment. Matter of fact, he was inside the Big House for The Game in 2023 as a recruit for the Wolverines but all he could think about was the Buckeyes.
“You know, I was at the Ohio State-Michigan game. I had a weird feeling that I just didn’t like Michigan,” Lowe told Lettermen Row after his commitment. “Like, I felt like I did not want to be there. After [Ohio State] lost, I was like ‘I gotta get out of here,’ I didn’t want to be there anymore. That was probably the feeling that made me realize this and I told [Ohio State] that and they were really happy.”
Lowe will be an early enrollee and on campus in January. He will play in the Navy All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas on Jan. 11 prior to enrolling.
