How did Woods end up at Ohio State?
Ohio State was in search of a third cornerback to add to the 2025 class for most of the fall. Jordyn Woods was one prospect the Buckeyes identified. They invited him to visit for the Nebraska game and a few weeks later, the Buckeyes offered Woods. From that point he knew it would be hard to turn down an opportunity to learn from Tim Walton.
“Oh it’s a big offer that has a lot of meaning,” Woods said. “Being able to play in an atmosphere like Ohio State in the Big Ten is unmatched.”
Woods quickly scheduled an official visit to Columbus for the Indiana game. One day after his official visit he flipped his commitment from the Bearcats to the Buckeyes.
Woods will enroll at Ohio State in June and begin his career as a Buckeye.
