The latest Letter of Intent is in: Quincy Porter has signed with the Buckeyes.
COLUMBUS — For most of the recruiting cycle Ohio State did not have a five-star wide receiver commitment but that changed this fall. Five-star WR Quincy Porter has signed his Letter of Intent to Ohio State and is officially a Buckeye.

Who is Quincy Porter?
Quincy Porter is a four-star wide receiver from Oradell, New Jersey. He attended Bergen Catholic High School. He committed to the Buckeyes on June 14, 2024 over Michigan and Penn State. Matter of fact, Porter committed to Ohio State the day he was expected to fly to Ann Arbor for his Michigan official visit.

Quincy Porter is the most-talented wide receiver that Brian Hartline and the Buckeyes signed in the 2025 class. Not only does Porter have sky-high potential but he has already produced at a high level in high school. Porter had 57 receptions for 969 yards and 11 touchdowns in 12 games as a senior. He is already a physically imposing prospect at 6-foot-3.5 and 200 pounds.
Porter is one of four wide receiver commitments for Ohio State this cycle. He joins De’zie Jones, Phillip Bell and Bodpegn Miller in the Buckeyes class.
How did Porter end up at Ohio State?
Quincy Porter was not a prospect that was mentioned often with Ohio State until the summer. He took an unofficial visit to Columbus in April but things started to pick up him and the Buckeyes following his official visit in June.

Penn State received Porter’s first official visit of the summer from May 31-June 2 and that ended up being the only other official that he would take. Ohio State hosted Porter for an official visit the following weekend and he committed to the Buckeyes one week later.
Porter is a big believer in Brian Hartline and his track record of developing wide receivers.
“The wide receiver play that they have at Ohio State,” Porter told On3. “Ohio State is Wide Receiver U.”
Porter will be an early enrollee and on campus in January after playing in the Navy All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas on Jan. 11.
