How did Tshabola end up at Ohio State?
Tegra Tshabola wanted to keep his cool and stay patient. But from the moment the chance to play at Ohio State was presented to him, it seemed clear that he wouldn’t let that slip away from him.
The in-state target was appealing to the Buckeyes right away thanks to his massive size, raw strength and the ability to move people on the inside of the offensive line as a guard prospect. Aside from the obvious appeal of sticking close to home, Ohio State has also shown a consistent ability to maximize the talents of its offensive linemen and develop them into NFL Draft picks. There’s a long journey ahead of Tshabola before those types of conversations can happen, and he won’t be getting started with the Buckeyes until the summer.
But the road to his new home is a short one. Tegra Tshabola confirmed that trip as soon as the early signing period allowed him to make it official.
