COLUMBUS – High school football playoffs are happening across the country. Several Ohio State commits are in pursuit of a state championship with their respective schools.
Several Ohio State commitments in the 2025, 2026 and 2027 classes will be in action this weekend as they chase a championship.

Running back
Three-star Philadelphia (Pa.) St. Joseph’s Prep running back Isaiah West plays Downingtown West (Pa.) on Friday in a playoff game.
Wide receiver
Four-star Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic wide receiver Quincy Porter plays Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep on Friday in a playoff game.
Four-star Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic wide receiver De’zie Jones plays Sparta (N.J.) Pope John XXIII on Friday in a playoff game.
2026 Five-Star Plus+ Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. hosts Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco on Friday in a playoff game. Henry is out for the rest of the season with an injury.
Tight end
Four-star Washington (Okla.) tight end Nate Roberts plays Tulsa (Okla.) Metro Christian Academy on Friday in a playoff game.
2026 four-star Jacksonville (Fla.) The Bolles School tight end Corbyn Fordham plays Havana (Fla.) Gadsden County on Friday in a playoff game.
Defensive line
Four-star Matthews (N.C.) Weddington defensive lineman Trajen Odom plays Greensboro (N.C.) Northern Guilford on Friday in a playoff game.
Four-star Delran (N.J.) St. Joseph’s Prep defensive lineman Maxwell Roy plays Downingtown West (Pa.) on Friday in a playoff game.Roy is unlikely to play due to injury.
Four-star Newberry (Fla.) defensive lineman Jarquez Carter plays Cocoa (Fla.) on Friday in a playoff game.
Linebacker
Four-star Vero Beach (Fla.) linebacker Tarvos Alford plays Orlando (Fla.) Dr. Phillips on Friday in a playoff game.
Three-star Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban linebacker Eli Lee plays Avon (Ohio) on Friday in a playoff game.
Cornerback
